St. Pete Comic Con 2022 brings in comic artist Sam de la Rosa

Comic artist Sam de la Rosa is well-known for his work on Venom and Carnage. His other Marvel credits include Spider-Man, Black Panther, The Avengers, and X-Men. And his DC work includes Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, and Firestorm. 

And he is appearing at St. Pete Comic Con on January 8-9, 2022 at the Coliseum. The two-day, multi-genre comic convention features comics, anime, science fiction and fantasy talent, along with a guest roster of Florida’s top cosplayers. Tickets are available (tickets include single day for $20, and weekend pass for $30).

His his work on Venom Lethal Projector issues 1-6 is the inspiration for the recent movie Venom: Let there be Carnage.

Interesting fact about de la Rosa

He worked on the first comic book of Predator by Dark Horse Comics in 1989.
